Q: Why you just wired $20,000 on Friday, 5/16/2008?
A: This $20,000 was made due to several reasons:
1. Most of donations are from Paypal and Google Checkout and it take 3-4 business days for the bank to clear the deposit.
2. Due to security concern, for a certain period of time, Paypal put "restricted accout access" to our Paypal account. Now it’s cleared but already caused delay of our withdrawal.

4. Our policy is to transfer money to Red Cross Society of China (official name of China Red Cross) within 24 hours as soon as the donation is deposited in our bank account.
Q: How can I get company match?
A: Various companies have different policy toward match to your donation. We will publish a Donation Match list soon which will list either your company has the matching program to SVTN or it is under review progress.
There are usually 2 ways to get the company match:

Q: How soon my donation can get to
A: Majority of donations are from channels of Paypal and Google Checkout. We have submit the withdraw request to get the donation to our bank account. However, the withdraw process take 2-4 business days. We are doing this transaction every day, and once we get the money into our bank account, we will wire transfer the donations to China Red Cross account in the same business day. The wire transfer from our bank account to CRC bank account should be within 24 hrs.

A: Yes, that is confirmed, we can do that as long as they give us a tear down detailed list with their email addresses and donation amount for each of them. (Phone No. will be good to have too)

Q: When can I get my receipt?
不管以何种方式的捐款，我们都会在完成捐款活动结算后给您寄去RECEIPT，所以请您在捐款的时候把您的EMAIL地址写清楚，如果是通过银行汇款，也请您在留言处注明您的联系方式。如果您急用RECEIPT，请您在DONATE后尽快跟我们联系。目前我们打算从5月20日开始处理RECEIPT。
No matter what kind of donation method you are using, we will provide you a PDF format tax deductible receipt by email or to your mailing address right after the event (We encourage you give us your email address to save cost). So please let us know your email address or your Tel. No. when you donate. If you need the receipt right away, please let us know.

Q: I did not find my name on your tracking list. Is it a problem with your tracking system?
A: THANKS for your donation,
Majority of donations are from Paypal and Google Checkout. To protect privacy of donors, we only display part of donor's name and part of confirmation number.
We are working on a more reliable tracking system; just don't wanna leak our donor's info, so have to be more careful on that, so we are making a software to generate a more reliable donor list automatically. Right now we are generating this list everyday manually, so this will take some time.
Please check back to get most updated list and info. If you still don't see your name in 24 hours, please write us a email with your name, amount and transaction ID, we will check for you.

Q: Do we charge any operation cost? OR Do we have any overhead charge?
A: NO. We will 100% transfer all your donations to China Red Cross. We will not charge any operation cost or overhead. Currently, we have about 15 volunteers who are helping all donation and website details. No one is paid. Let's also thank those volunteers hard work.
