Why donate through this foundation?
A: Our foundation is qualified IRS 501(c) 3 NPO. Contributor can deduct tax for their donation. Also some companies provide donation match program. We are adding more companies to their match grogram. Please check Donation Match. If your company is not on the list, please contact us and help to submit donation match request to your company.
A: No. Your donation will be 100% used for charity purpose specified by the fund you
choose. The foundation is operated by volunteers. The officers and committee member does not take any pay for their volunteer work. The minimum cost if any to operate the foundation is covered by special fund donated by foundation

Q:
Can I set up a special fund under a fund program?
A: Yes. You can set up a special sub-fund under a fund program and champion the sub-fund. You can choose the sub fund name and specify the use under the fund guideline. Sub-fund may subject minimum set up limit. Please check each fund program for detail.

Can I propose a fund program?
A: Yes. You can propose a fund program to the committee. But the program will be subject to foundation committer and board approval to become official fund program of the foundation.

Can I set up a fund to benefit a special person?
A: No. You can not. That will violate our NPO and charity purpose.

When should a donor expect the receipt?
A: The donation receipt will be emailed out no later than two business days upon receiving by mail. If donated by online, it will be sent out right way upon verifying the payment. The donation amount will be posted online for search no later than two business days once our automatic system is completed.

How can I get company match?
A: Various companies have different policy toward match to your donation. Please see Donation Match section to find the companies that either have been approved to match our program or are in working process on getting the approval.
