Mission Statement Tsinghua Challenge Education Foundation, hereinafter referred to as "TCEF", is a subsidary foundation under Silicon Valley Tsinghua Network, hereinafter referred to as "SVTN", which is a non-profit organization established in 1994. SVTN is an IRS 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Our Mission: To promote Tsinghua education development and academic research and assist educational efforts at all levels in China; To help create equal opportunities for fellow Chinese students and support overseas charity efforts for China education. Past Charity ActivitiesAs a California incorporated non-profit organization, SVTN returned to public with some monetary donation, to name a few, silver sponsor of Millennium Summit of the United Nation (1999, $99), Chen Huxiong Memorial Service (2005, $200), Xian Huiping Memorial Found (2005, $200), Tsinghua University LiXueJin (hardship assistantship, $2400, 2006). Besides, SVTN also provided help to promoted Fu Zhigang Cancel fundraising (2002), SARS Mask to China Donation (2003), Yu Jian Marrow/Stem Cell Drive (2004), Zhu Ling Thallium-poisoning donation (2004), and other charitable events.
